Biofuels trading community · Invitation to join

India–ANZ Biofuels & Carbon Market Corridor

A trading community connecting Indian biofuel suppliers with buyers in Australia and New Zealand.

Biodiesel · Biomass pellets · Biochar · Other bio-based fuels and carbon products

01 · What the corridor is

A trusted meeting point for buyers and sellers.

Australia and New Zealand are building demand for lower-carbon fuels and bio-based carbon products. India has a deep base of agricultural residue, biomass processors and biofuel producers. What buyers and sellers need between the two is a trusted, documented way to find each other and trade.

The corridor is a commodity trading community. Sellers are Indian producers, processors and aggregators of biofuels. Buyers are companies in Australia and New Zealand looking for a reliable source: importers, distributors, fuel blenders, industrial and energy users, agricultural and horticultural businesses, and carbon-project developers.

The corridor in one sentence

A community where Indian biofuel sellers and buyers in Australia and New Zealand meet, verify and trade, anchored by Sat Akaal Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, which can manage the export end to end.

02 · Two ways to trade

You choose the route for each order.

Community route

Direct Connect

Members find each other through the community and agree terms between themselves. Sat Akaal introduces, screens and supports documentation. The contract and shipment sit between buyer and seller.

Suits: Importers with their own logistics and compliance in place.

04 · What the corridor trades

Graded to the buyer's application.

Biodiesel

Blending, transport and industrial use. Supplied to the buyer's specification and the national fuel quality standard, subject to Indian export licensing.

Biomass pellets & briquettes

Heat, energy and industrial process use. Size, calorific value, moisture, ash and fines to the buyer's requirement.

Biochar

Soil, growing media, environmental and industrial use. Carbon targeted at 70%+ where achievable; tested for carbon, ash, moisture, pH, PAHs and heavy metals.

Charcoal & other biofuels

Other qualifying bio-based fuels and carbon products. Graded to the intended application.

Carbon market link

Biochar for verified carbon-removal projects. Subject to methodology, measurement, certification and registry requirements.

05 · ANZ compliance we coordinate

Prepared with you and your customs broker.

Biosecurity clearance

Charcoal, biochar and pellets are assessed under Australian and New Zealand biosecurity import conditions. We prepare product and processing records to support clearance.

Fuel quality standards

Biodiesel must meet the national fuel quality standard in Australia or New Zealand. Batches are tested against it before shipment.

Dangerous-goods shipping

Charcoal and biochar are generally shipped as dangerous goods under the international sea-freight code. We follow the required preparation, packing and declarations.

Trade documentation

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, test reports and batch records for the buyer's import clearance.

We prepare this with the buyer and their customs broker for every shipment. Import approvals, duties and taxes sit with the importer of record. General information, not legal advice.

06 · What each side gains

Value on both sides of the corridor.

Buyers in Australia & New Zealand

  • One trusted network of vetted Indian sellers, instead of searching supplier by supplier.
  • Built to your requirement: specification, volume and destination come first.
  • Independent verification before commercial supply, not self-declared numbers.
  • Your choice of route: trade direct, or let Sat Akaal manage the export.

Sellers in India

  • Access to ANZ buyers without building an export desk for each market.
  • Defined demand: requirements arrive specified, so you produce against real orders.
  • Managed export option: documentation, freight and dangerous-goods paperwork handled.
  • Durable relationships built for recurring supply and long-term offtake.
